Monday Night Civil War
Episode 5

Introductions from the Control Tower with Joey Styles, Mick Foley, and Al Snow.

Long black stretch Limousine pulls into the area. Custom made from head to toe, out walks Ric Flair, he’s  with A.J. Styles (TNA belt draped over his shoulder), Shelton Benjamin w/ Maria (in fancy dress), and Christopher Daniels.   (Styles, Benjamin, and Daniels are all in their wrestling gear) Whoooo!   Flair on the mic, “ They said… it shouldn’t be done.  They said… it couldn’t be done.  They said… don’t do it Ric.   I’m here tonight standing before all you and God himself, to say I did it.  I brought back THE HORSEMEN.   Whooo!, look at Shelton Benjamin with beautiful Maria at his side,  It reminds me of Tully Blanchard w/ Babydoll.  Christopher Daniels is a technician inside this ring, he gets the job done just like A.A. Arn Anderson used too.  Now, this guy,   A.J. Styles can walk that isle like the Nature Boy back in the day,  I see a lot of myself in this kid.   Me… I’m standing back just like J.J. Dillon used too and letting these studs ride rough shot all over 21st Century Pro.   Now, if you’re doing the math,  that only 3 Horsemen.   That’s right,  we need that 4th guy,  that Barry Windham or Lex Lugar wrestler to complete to puzzle.   It might not happen tonight… but I guarantee that a 4th Horsemen will be chosen very soon.  And when we are at full strength, God help anyone who gets in the Horsemen’s path.

Now…There is business to be discussed. Shane McMahon picked Tyler Black last week.  Tonight, McMahon said it’s the Nature Boy’s turn to pick THE MAN.   I’ve discussed this decision long and hard with the boys and the choice is unanimous.  Now, just as Flair is about to make this big announcement the house lights begin to flicker and then everything goes dark.   It only stays dark for a moment and then the light’s come back on with an appearance by anyone, no angle,  nothing.  It looks like it’s just some kind of technical glitch that wasn’t supposed to happen.   Flair picks up where he left off and announced Shelton Benjamin as the new contender for the 21stCentury Pro World Tite.   Flair talks about how his stable of wrestlers will be draped in gold, AJ has gold, Shelton will have gold next, and then this man.  Christopher Daniels gets some mic time to balance the importance of the Horsemen unit.   Daniels talks about the unity of the Horsemen and talks about his match later tonight against Shane McMahon’s pick, Tyler Black

Commercial 8:15

Control Tower/ Shane McMahon joins Joey Styles, Mick Foley, and Al Snow.   Shane McMahon first addresses the Horsemen situation, saying that a new version of the Four Horsemen is no surprise to him.  Shane admits that he didn’t know who the members where going to be but he seen it coming.  Shane continues that him and 21st Century Pro are well prepared for the Horsemen and what’s to come, “arrangements have been made”.   Joey Styles is puzzled by those comments.   Shane McMahon says that he’s thrilled that Shelton Benjamin is Flair’s choice and that brings 21st Century Pro to it’s next BIG announcement.  In 4 weeks,  21st Century Pro will host it’s very first PAY PER VIEW and it will be called ‘CONTENDER’ and Tyler Black and Shelton Benjamin will be joined by The Warrior’s pick and Hulk Hogan’s pick to  decide the first 21stCentury Pro World Champion.   He’ll have more details about the PPV next week.

SHELTON BENJAMIN vs JEFF HARDY

Benjamin w/ Horsemen are still at ringside from 1st segment.   Hardy with his Enigma camera crew come out next.  Referee El Hijo Del Anto.  The in-ring action is high flying to say the very least.   Outside is ring is very busy as well.   Benjamin has a huge entourage hanging at ringside in,  Ric Flair, A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Maria.   In the early going of this match we continue the storyline where Maria tries to distract El Hijo but he wants nothing to do with her until later, Maria pulls out a mask of her own and put’s it on.  If Victoria Secret made a wrestling mask, this would be the type of mask that Maria puts on.   Immediately after Maria put this mask on,  El Hijo can barely take his eyes off of her.   This leaves plenty of room for Horsemen shenanigans.   Rob Feinstein’s camera gets too close to the Horsemen and AJ Styles takes offense.  AJ puts his hand over the camera lens.  Meanwhile, Christopher Daniels kicks Boom Boom Creed and takes his Boom Mic.  Daniels gets up on the apron and behind the referee’s back,  hits Jeff Hardy with the long Boom mic handle. Shelton Benjamin hits a neckbreaker and covers Hardy.  The referee gets turned around and makes the three count.  Winner is Shelton Benjamin.  After the match, Ric Flair grabs the microphone and walks up to Jeff Hardy.   Hardy holding the back of his head from the Boom mic shot.   Flair tells Hardy that he’s been watching him every week here on Monday Night Civil War and every week he’s been watching him lose.   Flair tells Hardy it doesn’t have to be like that and his luck is about to change.   Flair tells Hardy that there is a 4th spot open in the Horsemen and with YOU on our team, we can control this company.   Hardy is shown thinking about this decision hard.  Flair keeps encouraging him.   Finally, Hardy answers Flair with a nut shot.   Flair goes down holding his groin.   Immediately, Benjamin along with Styles and Daniels jump Hardy and beat him down.   The Horsemen then attack the Enigma camera crew and beat up both Rob Feinstein and Boom Boom Creed, leaving them laying too.  AJ Styles takes the Enigma camera.

ENIGMA FOOTAGE:
Horsemen are in control of the camera.     It shows them talking down hallways leading towards some of the dressing rooms.  Christopher Daniels kicks a door open and rushes Alex Shelley as he’s getting ready for his match against AJ Styles, scheduled next.  Daniels & Benjamin double team Alex Shelley and double whips him the hard lockers and when the force bounces him off the lockers Daniels backdrops him on the hard locker room floor.   After, they still kick the sh-t out of him.

Control Tower/ Styles,Foley, and Snow focus on all the damage the Horsemen are doing when Jeff Hardy walks into the room.  Hardy says that he doesn’t need the Horsemen to help him win.  He continues that his losing streak will end next week and he challenges any one of the horsemen to a match.

NON-TITLE MATCH
AJ STYLES vs ALEX SHELLEY

AJ comes out with the entire Horsemen entourage again.  Shelton Benjamin controlling the Enigma camera now.   Referee Mike Kehner.  Alex Shelley is introduced and nothing. Flair is yelling at the referee that he should just announce AJ Styles as the winner.  Alex Shelley is introduced again but this time the lights flicker light they did earlier and then the arena goes dark.    Light are back up and nothing, no Alex Shelley still, no one.   AJ Styles grabs the mic and cuts a promo talking about the TNA World Title and how great he is, just a rant,  but just then Alex Shelley FINALLY starts his walk to the ring but it’s very obvious that he’s been hurt.   Once the bell rings and the match is under way,  it’s very short.  AJ Styles hits a suplex off the top top and pins Shelley.   After the match,  Christopher Daniels takes advantage of the motionless Shelley and gives him a couple well placed boots.

It’s been 45 minutes of straight Horsemen damage
Commercial 8:45

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI  vs  TWIGGY H. RAMIREZ
Claudio comes to the ring to ‘Godfather’ theme and is again dressed in a TUX like he just came from an Italian Wedding. Referee Mike Kehner warns Claudio to change.  Claudia makes everyone wait as he dis-robes at ringside.  He has his wrestling gear on under his Tux.  Once we get down to business,  it’s all Claudio inside the ring.  Twiggy submits to a Torture Rack style backbreaker from Claudio.  After the match,  Claudio calls for his SHINEBOX and the shoeshine boy shows up in the crowd and gives Claudio the shinebox.  Claudio waits for Twiggy to up like he’s about to hit him with the shinebox when Trent Acid (Twiggy’s partner) runs from the back to try to save Twiggy, but as soon as Trent slid inside the ring he gets himself knocked out with the shinebox hit.    Claudio leaves.

Commercial 9:00

ROB VAN DAM  vs   SAMOA JOE

Don “The Big Kahuna Burger” Muraco and Knox (Mike Knox) the Destroyer are at ringside in Joe’s corner.  Rob Van Dam announced as MR. MONDAY NIGHT with “Mr. Monday Night” airbrush tights on.  RVD grabs the mic and says that he feels a little uneasy because of the odds and asks if the referee wouldn’t mind , if he could maybe have someone in his corner.  Referee El Hijo Del Anto approves.  RVD tells the crowd , it’s not who you think ,  but this guy can get the job done.   Out comes,  MORISHIMA !    Muraco not happy at all.   RVD & Joe lock up and every time Knox gets on the apron , so does Morishima but no one enters or interferes.   The finish has RVD fly off the top rope but Samoa Joe catches him and turns it right into a Muscle Buster for the pinfall clean.  Winner : Samoa Joe!   After the contest,  Knox the Destroyer climbs the top rope like to come off onto RVD but Morishima runs in the ring and bounces off the ropes, which knocks Knox to the outside and then coming off the ropes Morishima takes Samoa Joe’s head off with a vicious lariat.  Muraco is on the apron running his mouth and Morishima pulls Muraco inside the ring.  RVD recovers and climbs to the top rope.  Morishima slams Muraco down and RVD comes off with the big FROG SPLASH on Muraco.   Knox pulls Muraco’s body out of the ring.

Handicap Tag Team Match
Ezekiel Jackson                     MOTHER TRUCKER Murdoch
Shingo Takagi          vs          THE GIMP
Naruki Do

I’m not booking much here. Referee Mike Kehner..   While Ezekiel has Trevor on the run,  Do and Takagi grabs THE GIMPS mask and turns it backwards so he can’t see anything.  They then proceed to land stiff kicks at every angle and Gimp see’s none of them coming.  They then take him down with a high/low Eliminators style.  Next, they hit Gimp with the Mad Mad Mad Mad Splash but this time, Murdoch grabs him Gimps legs and pulls him out of the ring.  Murdoch reaches under the ring and pulls out a great big money wrench and climps into the ring with his weapon.  Do and Takagi leave the ring and THEY reach under their end of the ring and pull out two great big samurai swords. Murdoch drops his wrench and heads to higher ground.  They are counted out.  Winners: Ezekiel, Do, and Takagi.

Commercial 9:30

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS vs TYLER BLACK

Just like earlier tonight,  the Horsemen are out in force at ringside.   Tyler Black is out by himself ready to take on the forces.  Oh, and AJ. Styles still has the Enigma camera.   21st Century Pro website has been live all night with anything and everything that the horsemen have decided to film, including an AJ Styles / Jeff Hardy non-televised dressing room brawl.  Tyler Black puts on a great showing despite the overwhelming disadvantages at ringside.  Tyler Black hits a 450 splash on Daniels and gets a 2 ¾ count with all members of the Horsemen with a foot inside the ring ready to pounce but didn’t once Daniels kicked out.

Commercial 9:45

Control Tower/ Joey Styles with Mick Foley and Al Snow with the match still going on inside the ring bring up a brief announcement. Next week on Monday Night Civil War,  It’s THE WARRIOR’s turn to pick a ‘Contender’ for the 21st Century Pro World Championship.  Will the Warrior even show up next week?    Also, In a Non-Title match : AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy,  and for the FIRST TIME EVER , Samoa Joe vs Takeshi Morishima!!!!, and Shane McMahon will announce more information about the CONTENDER PPV.

Back inside the squared circle, Daniels gets back on offense and after a couple good suplexes he hits THE BEST MOONSAULT EVER for a 2 ¾ count and Tyler Black kicks out at the last second.  Flair yells at referee El Hijo Del Anto for a slow count.   It wasn’t slow.   Maria tries to distract the referee without the V.S. mask and it doesn’t work.  Maria puts the mask on and El Hijo is distracted , so distracted that he doesn’t see a flying body block coming.  Black ducks and Daniels crashes into El Hijo , ref bump.    Shelton Benjamin runs in while the referee is down and plants Black with a Tornado style D.D.T.    Daniels covers Black as referee Mike Kehner runs down and slides into the ring to make the thre, and Black kicks out at the last moment.   Daniels picks Black up and piledriver.  Covers him…and kicked out again.  Daniels can’t believe that he can’t put Black down.  Flair is outside going ballistic !   Daniels picks up Black AGAIN and nails a 2nd piledriver!  1-2-3 and that’s it.  Winner: Christopher Daniels!    Tyler Black , the chosen one, has fallen to the hands of the Fallen Angel.  After the match,  Daniels, Flair, Benjamin, and Styles are all inside the ring stomping on Black when the light’s flicker and then the arena goes dark for a moment.  The lights come back on and Sting is standing over Tyler Black guarding him with a black baseball bat.   The Horsemen back up out of the ring.    Joey Styles questions , is this what Shane McMahon meant when he said “arrangements have been made”?  We end with STING just standing over Tyler Black what bat and pointing at The Horsemen.
