Marketing Macabre Story:

​My name is Michael Joy and I started Marketing Macabre to address a common problem for independent filmmakers.  The inability to find affordable means to market and promote their projects.  I wanted to create the alternative to combat the big public relations companies who over-charge and under-deliver.

I've been operations manager for Horrornews.net since 2008 and during that time period, I've worked with many PR companies.  There are some good ones and some bad ones, but most indie filmmakers can't afford to use them.  I've forged many great relationships over the years with the horror community and I'm finally in a position where I can really help indie filmmakers and others with great unsung horror projects.
