Nick Aldis and Austin Idol wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
If you've been following the current N.W.A. professional wrestling situation, then you know that Smashing Pumpkins lead singer, Billy Corgan has recently purchased the organization and is planning a revival. Rumors have even been circling about N.W.A. returning to Ted Turner's SuperStation TBS where it was home during the Jim Crockett years when The Nature Boy Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen were riding high.
They have been promoting the "Ten Pounds of Gold" famous N.W.A. championship belt for awhile now with online vignettes and doing a very good job. Billy Corgan says that they are going to officially start running shows in the Spring of 2018.
It looks like Billy's first move was putting the title on Nick Aldis (Magnus from T.N.A. / Impact Pro Wrestling). Nick recently defeated champion, Tim Storm. In an even more shocking turn of events, the legendary Universal Hearthrob Austin Idol has returned as the manager of Nick Aldis.
What's next for this version of the National Wrestling Alliance? No matter what, It's awesome to see one of the best promo guys in the history of the business, back in business, with Austin Idol's return to prominence.
