Michigan-based actor-filmmaker Harley Wallen (Investigation Discovery's Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda) strikes gold at the prestigious Indie Gathering International Film Festival as both “Eternal Code” starring an ensemble cast lead by Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween 1 & 2), Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down), Billy Wirth (The Lost Boys), Yan Birch (Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs), Kaiti Wallen (Betrayed opposite John Savage), Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project) and Mel Novak (Bruce Lee’s Game of Death) and also “Love Immortal” starring Richard Tyson, Aphrodite Nikolovski (Betrayed), Julie Kline and Erika Hoveland, who is starring in both films!
Harley Wallen was the writer, producer and director on “Eternal Code” and when he found out the great news, he was excited knowing how many people crossed paths on the two films such as Erika Hoveland, Richard Tyson, Calhoun Koenig and Whitney Wagner all acting in both films.
Robert Joseph Butler directed “Love Immortal” and Wallen is Executive Producer and they are no strangers to each other and have worked together in the past as Wallen appeared in newly acquired short film “The Girl on the Mat” that just sold to Shorts TV. This is Butler’s first feature, he has been highly successful making short films that have had great success on the festival circuit.
“It’s twice as special” said Wallen “to have two films screening as finalists at such a great festival! I hope to see many of you there!”
The Indie Gathering International Film Festival is a notable 24 year old film festival in Columbus Ohio 8/8-8/11.
Eternal Code was recently acquired by Vision Films.
