Buffy the Vampire star Camden Toy passes away after battle with pancreatic cancer

We are saddened to report the death of our friend and client  Camden Toy.
After a 2  year battle with pancreatic cancer, the beloved star, finally   succumbed to the disease on December 11,.
Camden Toy was 68 years old.
He leaves behind his mother, sister and longtime partner, Bethany  Henderson.

Camden Toy is best known for his  roles on the television shows "Buffy the Vampire Slayer,"  'Good Nite Burbank, " and "The Bay." Those who knew him , remember the kindness, the sweetness and his infectious smile, and great sense of humor. He relished in making people laugh.

Douug Jones, Camden's best friend, offered these words: 'To know Camden Toy was to Love Camden Toy. We may have met on the set of Buffy as two hideous looking "Gentlemen," but that only sparked a dear friendship that would continue for twenty-four years. It's rare to find a man so joyful, smiley, smart, giggly, huggie, good at listening with his heart, and accessible always to anyone he knew, including his many fans. May he rest in God's peace.

Gregori Martin , producer of the soap opera, "The Bay," said, "Camden was always always such a talent and joy to work with. It's no wonder he was a fan favorite on The Bay. I am so grateful for the times I got to work with him and will certainly cherish those memories.

Juliet Landau, Camden's close friend and costar on Buffy The Vampire Slayer remembered "Camden was a beautiful soul, a beautiful friend, and a beautiful talent. "

"From the first moment we met, I knew he was special. Under the visage of the monster he was made-up to be, shined the kindest of spirits. He's been a gift in our lives. We will miss him greatly."

"Forever curious and adventurous, he went back to school later in life to earn two masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and an MFA in screenwriting. He had just completed
the latter only a month before leaving this plane." learned of his illness, Camden went back to school and got his MFA in screenwriting. He has written 2 television shows, a feature film adn a graphic novel that he hoped would be his legacy.

"Accomplishments less known for include French chef, wine connoisseur, top-notch street performer  drug and alcohol counselor, film editor, and beginner of the small off-Broadway NADA theater in New York."

Camden's Facebook page has turned into a memorial with over one thousand posts as of this writing.

There are plans for a Celebration of Camden's Life next month.
