Known for his relentless drive and passion for independent cinema, Michael often said he had “never left a movie unfinished.” That legacy continues now, as his brother and producing partner Sonny Mahal, cinematographer Michael Su, and director/co-writer J. Horton move forward to bring The Apex Predators Club to the screen. The production, originally slated to shoot in July, has been rescheduled for September 2025 to allow the team time to raise the remaining funds and finish the film at the level of quality Michael insisted on.
